At the Golden Globes last night, songwriter Justin Tranter hinted at some major musical news for Britney Spears. The two worked together on the singer’s last album, “Glory”.
Britney’s back. After being Las Vegas’ hottest tickets for four years, Britney Spears is expected to go back on the road this year. Just before Christmas, she was confirmed as headliner for a Danish music festival and we’re expecting her world tour dates very soon.
Now, we’ve got some more evidence the pop icon will be soon returning to our shores. At the Golden Globes award ceremony last night, Buzzfeed celebrity journalist, Christian Zamora, spoke to Justin Tranter who worked extensively with Spears on her latest ninth album, “Glory”.
In response to whether fans should be expecting new material any time soon, Tranter replied with “Just wait”. Having worked together before, it would come as no surprise if the two were to reunite for Britney’s next project.
Britney’s upcoming, yet to be confirmed, album will be the follow-up to her 2016 released “Glory”, her most critically-acclaimed album in years. Tipped as her most involved and engaged record in over a decade, we can’t wait to hear what she’s got up her sleeve for this time.
