Wu-Tang Clan reveal puzzling music video for “People Say”

Just a few weeks after announcing their return and seventh album, Wu-Tang Clan are back in the limelight with a brand new music video for their single, “People Say”, featuring Redman.

“People Say”

The Staten Island crew are ready to make their fans’ wildest dreams come true this year. They’ve been pretty quiet ever since their sixth album in 2014, “A Better Tomorrow”, but the Wu-Tang Clan are making their big comeback this year. Rapper RZA recently confirmed that the band is currently working on a new album “Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues” to be released on 13th October.

To build their fan’s anticipation, they recently dropped the single “People Say” featuring Redman, as well as a second single, “Lesson Learn’d”. Today, we finally get to see our favourite rap collective set their latest music to video, with the brand new music clip for their track “People Say”.

This puzzling clip was directed by Navegante and features all Wu-Tang Clan members and a mysterious hooded man holding a box. DJ Mathematics explained the meaning in an interview with Complex.

The concept of the video is based on a Wu box and inside the Wu box is the secret to Wu’s energy. It’s sacred but at the same time, we want to share it so we give it out piece by piece. But there’s always someone who wants to take too much for their own selfish reasons. All of that transpires in the video.
