Following a lengthy and impressively cryptic promotional campaign, the release date for Eminem’s upcoming ninth album, “Revival”, has finally been revealed.
“Revival” to drop on 15th December
Shared in a video on social media, Eminem has finally announced the release date of his new album, “Revival”, for 15th December. It’s the date we’ve been waiting for for months after a fake drug prescription-themed campaign.
After five years of waiting, the real Slim Shady will be releasing new material just in time for Christmas. Confirming that “Revival” is absolutely not medication for the non-existant condition Atrox Rithimus (translated from Latin to “terrible rhyme”), the video’s narrator thanked everybody for taking part in the campaign. Earlier this month, the prolific rapper revealed “Walk On Water” from the new record, a powerful new single which sees him team up with none other than Beyoncé for an all star collaboration.
Fans will have to remain patient for the next fortnight and even more so for the announcement of tour dates. Let’s hope a couple of UK shows are in the pipeline for Eminem next year.
