After a sell-out 2017 edition, Balaton Sound is back for more. Now one of Europe’s largest open air music festivals, this is where you go to party to some of the biggest names in electronic music.
Every summer, almost 200,000 festival fanatics flock to the banks of Lake Balaton in Hungary for the epic EDM, house and techno music festival, Balaton Sound. Now in its second decade, Sziget Festival’s younger sibling has grown to become one of the most popular European summer music festivals.
Topping the bill for 2018 will be Martin Garrix, one of the hottest DJs sitting at the top of the Top 100 DJs for this year, the prolific producer David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W&W, Nervo and Timmy Trumpet.
It’s a fully immersive experience with nine stages, carnival rides, food and drink markets, sunbathing and water sports and beaches for chilling. The 2018 edition of the festival is set to take place on 4th-8th July and tickets are available now for those looking for a one-of-a-kind music festival experience abroad.
If you need convincing, you only have to watch last year’s After Movie below.
